Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's score of 62.7. The Microsoft Surface 3 body is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner, but a little heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Microsoft Surface 3 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a better amount of pixels per inch of display, a little bit bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 3 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much better 8 MP resolution back facing camera.
Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
