The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, getting a overall score of 68.5 against 62.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 construction is newer and a little bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's, although it is noticeably heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with 7 GB more RAM.
