The Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 score. Samsung Ativ Tab's body is a bit lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a screen that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's screen, and although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366 and a little bit greater pixels amount in each screen inch, they both have a screen of the same size. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 56 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor and 2 cpu cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Ativ Tab features a little better battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has an 8200mAh battery size against 7000mAh.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, resigning some features and specifications.
