Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, getting a overall score of 63 against 62.7. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 version. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE design is a little bit thinner but a bit heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and they were only released 3 months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and less cores (although faster), it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 both feature quite similar displays, both have the same screen pixel density, a display with the same size and the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has 16 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, giving up some specs and features.
