Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a 62.7 score against 58.1. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the previous 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is newer than Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's thicker and a little heavier.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an extra GPU. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both of them have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, a same size display and a greater pixel number in each inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both have the same resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 6800mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 costs a bit more money than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
