Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 V, getting a score of 62.7 against 58.5. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a much heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 V, but both have the same thickness. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the older 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4 version.
Galaxy Tab 3 V features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a way lower 1024 x 600 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher display density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a slightly bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have exactly the same 8 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a greater number of cores and a GPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, although it has a lot lower 2 megapixels resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a 94% more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 3 V. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 3 V, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
