The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a general score of 70.2, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's general score of 62.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a way newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
