Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 overall score. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features and better performance. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 design is a lot newer, incredibly thinner and much lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has lesser CPU cores (although they are faster) and 512 MB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has 8 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a lot more mega pixels camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet a great choice.
