Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 general score. Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is newer, much lighter and a lot thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a lot higher pixel density.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal storage. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 43 percent larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much more megapixels back camera.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 not only is the best devices of the ones we compare here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other devices.
