Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a general score of 66, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 overall score. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works with Android 4.0 operating system. Even being the best we are comparing, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a just a bit thicker and noticeably heavier device than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a better display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a little bit bigger screen and more pixels per inch of screen. Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a little faster processor than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a very superior battery duration than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has an 84 percent greater battery capacity.
