The iPod Touch 5th Generation has a global score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 score. The iPod Touch 5th Generation is a noticeably thinner and way lighter tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), even when both were released with only a few months difference. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with Android 4.1 OS.
The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. IPod Touch 5th Generation features a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1136 x 640px resolution and a lot greater screen density.
