Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is slightly better than Asus Fonepad 7, having a 60.7 score against 58.9. Both tablets we compare here use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an older 4.1 version and Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a a little bit thicker and heavier tablet than the Asus Fonepad 7.

The Asus Fonepad 7 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a same size screen, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a greater pixel count in each display inch and a better 1280 x 800 resolution. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a greater storage to install games and applications than Asus Fonepad 7, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a quite better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 64 bits processing unit, a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a very superior battery life than Asus Fonepad 7. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures just a bit better videos and photos than Asus Fonepad 7, although it has a way worse 3 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a way worse 1280x720 video resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a better device, it is more expensive than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus Fonepad 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 7, resigning a couple features and specs.
