Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a general score of 60.7, which is a bit better than LG G Pad 10.1's 58.4 overall score. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an older 4.1 version while LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a thicker but notably lighter tablet than the LG G Pad 10.1.

The LG G Pad 10.1 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the LG G Pad 10.1 also has an extra graphics processor and a greater number of cores.
