Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 overall score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the older 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version. Even though Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) were only released 8 months apart, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's construction is incredibly heavier but just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and a Dual-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a graphics processor.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both have the same resolution camera. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 75% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), resigning a couple features and specifications.
