The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Both tablets in this comparison review have the same Android 4.1 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) construction is heavier but just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and both of them were released only a few months apart.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) both count with very similar CPUs, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a camera that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) one, both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 1280x720 video definition and a 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a couple features and specs.
