Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), having a 60.8 score against 60.7. Although the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) were released only 5 months apart, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's construction is a bit thinner but also a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the newer 4.1.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both of them have the same pixel density, a same size display and the same resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both of them have 1 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video definition.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
