Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 overall score. Even though Galaxy Tab S8 is extremely heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's extremely thinner and way newer. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S8 has newer 13 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version, so it gives a lot of extra features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better performance than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has less RAM memory and 6 lesser cpu cores (although faster). Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, much less pixels per display inch and a lot smaller display.

Galaxy Tab S8 features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back camera with much more mega pixels. Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab S8 has a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
