The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is a bit better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 general score. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an older 4.1 version while Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even though Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is older and somewhat thicker than Alcatel A30 Tablet, it's design is still a little lighter.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a bit superior processing unit than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Alcatel A30 Tablet has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a way higher 5 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Alcatel A30 Tablet counts with a battery life that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's battery life.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a little more expensive than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
