Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a global score of 61.7 against 61.2. Even being the best device we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's construction is older, way thicker and somewhat heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the previous 4.1 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution, a much higher screen density and a little bit bigger screen.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures just a bit better photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a worse video resolution and a camera in the back with a way worse resolution. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 24 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a superior battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
