The Microsoft Surface 2 has a global score of 63.4, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 general score. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with Android 4.1 operating system. The Microsoft Surface 2 is a newer and thinner tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but it is also incredibly heavier.

The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 2 has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot larger display, a lot higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a quite greater quantity of pixels per screen inch.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes a little bit better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a way worse video resolution and a camera in the back with a much worse 3.2 mega pixels resolution. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
