The Microsoft Surface Go is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, having a 66.5 score against 61.7. Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with Android 4.1 OS. Microsoft Surface Go is a way newer and thinner tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it's much heavier.

Microsoft Surface Go features a display that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's display, although the Microsoft Surface Go also has a higher screen pixel density, a much larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1800 x 1200. The Microsoft Surface Go features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Go also counts with a higher amount of RAM.

Microsoft Surface Go features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video definition and a much better 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera. Microsoft Surface Go features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Go.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Go, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up a couple specs and features.
