Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's general score of 61.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with Android 4.1 operating system. Although it's the best in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro design is extremely heavier and extremely thicker than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a bit greater amount of pixels in each inch of display and a way larger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory and a better 650 MHz graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and faster video frame rate.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a couple specs and features.
