Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 overall score. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is extremely heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and they were released with only 0 months difference. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE works with Android 4.1 OS.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a really smaller display and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixel count in each inch in the display. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit and a 400 MHz graphics co-processor, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has more RAM memory. Samsung Ativ Tab features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 105% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a way less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lower video resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
