Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a score of 63, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's overall score of 61.7. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is noticeably heavier but somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and both were released only 5 months apart. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, offering a couple additional features.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 2 more processing cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has 8 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a lot less mega-pixels camera in the back.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you want to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
