The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a general score of 66.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 construction is lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, even though both were released only 9 months apart. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, so it gives lots of additional features.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a faster graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. They have the same screen density, exactly the same resolution of 600 x 1024px and a screen with the same size.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has 16 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a better resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's battery lifetime is very similar to Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's battery performance.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, resigning some features and specs.
