Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a 65.6 score against 61.7. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a newer tablet, and it is also notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, so it counts with lots of additional features and a performance increase.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's processor is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of 1.2 gigahertz cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a higher count of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 have quite similar storage for apps and games, both have equal internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE feature extremely similar batteries.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it has a less mega-pixels back facing camera and a lower 1280x720 video quality.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
