The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's global score of 61.7. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 construction is newer, just a bit lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE feature similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 2 more 1.2 GHz processing cores and a greater amount of RAM.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has much more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 16 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, resigning a couple specifications.
