Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a global score of 64.9, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's global score of 61.7. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, providing you a couple additional features. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's design is incredibly newer and thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's, but it's a bit heavier.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, a just a little worse pixel count per inch of display and a little smaller screen. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB and more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a CPU that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's processor, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a much more megapixels camera in the back.
Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
