The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a bit better than the Sony Tablet S, with a general score of 61.7 against 57.5. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a newer and noticeably lighter portable tablet than Sony Tablet S, but it is a little thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a more recent 4.1 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, counting with lots of additional features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a little sharper screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a really smaller display and a lot worse 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has an extra graphics co-processor.
The Sony Tablet S features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Sony Tablet S also has a lot higher resolution camera. The Sony Tablet S has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.
Sony Tablet S counts with better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it very easy to pick between these tablets.
