The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, with a overall score of 70.7 against 65.9. Although Google Nexus 7 (2013) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch were released with only 2 months difference, Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s construction is noticeably lighter but a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has an extra graphics processor, more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM.
