Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 65.9 score against 60.8. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch design is somewhat thinner but way heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both of them were only released 4 months apart. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the older 4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has an additional graphics processor, a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot greater pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a very superior camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a really longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, else you can save some money and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specifications.
