The iPad mini 3 has an overall score of 77.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's general score of 65.9. The iPad mini 3 body is newer, just a little bit thinner and a lot lighter than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. IPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch comes with Android 4.2 OS.
Apple iPad mini 3 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a much greater amount of pixels per inch of screen. The iPad mini 3 features a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and 2 CPU cores, the iPad mini 3 also has an extra GPU and a 64-bit processing unit.

Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has just a little bit longer battery life than iPad mini 3, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 6350mAh.
