Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is better than the Google Nexus 7, having a global score of 65.9 against 59.3. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's design is newer and extremely thinner, but a lot heavier than the Google Nexus 7. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the older 4.2 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1.
Google Nexus 7 counts with a better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a better pixels number in each inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Google Nexus 7 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Google Nexus 7 also has a graphics processing unit and 2 more CPU cores.
