Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has an overall score of 65.9, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's 65.5 general score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's design is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. Both devices we compare here come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the newer 4.2 version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2, so it provides a couple additional features.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have 2 CPU cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 also has an extra graphics processing unit. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Both have a same size display, the same resolution of 800 x 1280px and the same screen pixel density.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 also has a back camera with way more MP.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, letting go a couple specifications.
