The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a 65.9 score against 61.7. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, providing you a couple additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a newer and extremely thinner tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but it's noticeably heavier.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Dual-Core CPU. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a really smaller display and a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has 24 GB more internal memory.

Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a couple specifications.
