The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's 65.9 global score. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version, so it provides some extra features and increased performance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a a lot lighter tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but both of them have the same thickness.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a better display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen.
