The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, getting a overall score of 68.3 against 65.9. Both tablets in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) design is incredibly newer and way lighter, but also somewhat thicker than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has more processing cores (although slower) and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also counts with a larger display.
