The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an overall score of 75.2, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's 65.9 overall score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version, providing you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is extremely lighter and a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, even when both were released with only 7 months difference.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has an extra graphics processing unit, more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better display pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1600.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 shoots way better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with a much higher resolution. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's memory capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's one, both have equal internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 42 percent larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, which makes it a simple decision.
