The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is better than Google Nexus 7, with a score of 66.5 against 59.3. These devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 design is newer, just a little bit thinner and lighter than the Google Nexus 7.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a little faster CPU than Google Nexus 7, because although it has less cpu cores , it also counts with more RAM and a faster 450 MHz graphics co-processor. The Google Nexus 7 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the Google Nexus 7 also has a greater screen density and a better resolution of 800 x 1280.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB. Google Nexus 7 has a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4325mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a much better camera than Google Nexus 7.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Nexus 7, letting go some features and specs.
