Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a global score of 75.8, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's global score of 66.5. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so both should offer identical operating system features. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s construction is much heavier but incredibly thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a really larger screen, a lot higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and a way better pixel number per inch of display.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back camera with a way better 8 mega-pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, giving up some specifications.
