Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, having a global score of 69.2 against 66.5. The Galaxy Note 8.0 design is extremely thinner but heavier than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both tablets in this review use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the user the same OS features.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 2 more CPU cores , a faster GPU and a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of screen, a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a bit smaller screen.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 count with very similar memory capacity for apps and games, both have equal internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 captures greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a much more mega pixels camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it costs more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
