Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a general score of 66.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's general score of 61.7. Even when Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE were released with only 9 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is lighter and just a little bit thinner. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a much better graphics processor working at 450 MHz and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. Both of them have a display with the same size, exactly the same resolution of 600 x 1024 and the same quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has 16 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back facing camera with a higher resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a battery duration that is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 one.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up a couple specs and features.
