Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a score of 66.5, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 score. Both of these tablets include the same Android 4.4.2 operating system, so both of them should give identical OS features. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is an older and notably thicker tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, but Samsung managed to build it a little lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, although it has 2 lesser cores (although faster), they both have the same RAM amount and a 450 MHz GPU. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a bit greater screen density, a quite larger screen and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. Both of them have a same resolution back camera. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 have very similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, both have exactly the same internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, letting go some specifications.
