Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's score of 62.3. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has older 4.2.2 version and Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch design has the same thickness than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, but it is just a bit heavier.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a same size screen, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a greater screen pixel density and a lot higher 1920 x 1200px resolution. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a slower 700 megahertz graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes much better videos and photos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. They have a camera in the back with a 5 mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a bit longer battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity instead of 4060mAh.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also cheaper than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.
