The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a score of 68.7, which is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 overall score. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch construction is thinner but just a little bit heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both were released only a few months apart. Both of these tablets have the same Android 4.2.2 OS (operating system).
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.
