Comparison review
IPad 3 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, with a score of 71.1 against 68.7. The iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 OS. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, iPad 3 is an older, extremely heavier and extremely thicker tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch.
IPad 3 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a bigger screen. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a better hardware performance than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have 2 cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has an extra graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM.
The iPad 3 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a 5 MP camera in the back, the iPad 3 also has a way better video definition. The iPad 3 features a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Apple iPad 3 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 160% more battery capacity.
Although Apple iPad 3 is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
