Apple iPad Air 2 has a general score of 79.3, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's global score of 68.7. The Apple iPad Air 2 body is newer and thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's, although it is also much heavier. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 operating system.
IPad Air 2 and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch feature extremely similar CPUs, because although the iPad Air 2 has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a 64-bit CPU.
