Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is slightly better than the Apple iPod touch 6th generation, having a general score of 68.7 against 65.6. Although it's the best tablet device in this review, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a notably older, a lot heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device than the Apple iPod touch 6th generation. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system, while Apple iPod touch 6th generation comes with iOS 12.x operating system.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a more powerful processing unit than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has 512 MB more RAM and a graphics processor. The Apple iPod touch 6th generation counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 640 x 1136 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixel density.
IPod touch 6th generation takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back and a way better 1920x1080 video quality. The Apple iPod touch 6th generation has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a much better battery performance than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has a 327% larger battery capacity.
