Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a bit better than the Google Nexus 10, getting a global score of 68.7 against 68.1. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has older 4.2.2 version and Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's construction is somewhat thinner and notably lighter than Google Nexus 10, even though both were only released 7 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a bit better processing power than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with an extra graphics processor. Google Nexus 10 has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 9000mAh battery capacity against 4450mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a better device, it is more expensive than the Google Nexus 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 10. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Nexus 10, resigning some features and specs.
