Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is much better than Google Nexus 7, having a 68.7 score against 59.3. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's body is newer, a little bit lighter and much thinner than the Google Nexus 7. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little faster processing unit than Google Nexus 7, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a much better 1064 megahertz GPU and 512 MB more RAM. Google Nexus 7 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a quite greater pixels density.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a little bit longer battery performance than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 7, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
